Waste Free Oceans (WFO) is an international organisation whose main goal is to reduce the global impact of marine litter.
By mobilising fisheries and manufacturers, their mission is to recycle and reuse marine debris to create new and innovative products. WFO’s operations focus on marine litter clean-ups and “Closing the Loop” projects, where new products are designed and produced from collected ocean waste.
They partner with recyclers, converters and brands to make optimal use of available resources and raise awareness of plastic pollution. Based in Brussels, they also operate in the Americas, Asia, Africa and the Middle East.
This collaboration led to the creation of a series of items made of recycled PET bottles with consequent CO2 savings.
